Learning From Your Students, What’S Coming Up, And Exciting News! (Plus My Confession).

Ok, teaching is all about learning.

I got my feedback from my Soul Creative beta class and they all loved it and thought it was transformative and a few mentioned it was a lot of work in a short period of time, but they got through it.

But… I had a follow up call with these amazing ladies and what I heard was, let us learn at our own pace. So, I have decided to open the Soul Creative course up, but it will be for a year long access. You will get a whole year to complete your program.
I will do monthly calls instead of weekly, but will add check in videos after each module.

Does this sound less scary to you? Does this sound more like something you would like to try?

I also have another new adventure starting up in September.
September will be a busy month.

I will be leading an in person drop in ‘Healing with Creativity’ twice a month. Drop in classes will be the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7 to 9:30 pm and will only cost $20 and all supplies are included.

We will be doing a mediation to start us off, and each evening will have a theme that will cover the creative project and how it helps us heal.

This will be a great place to dabble in healing with creativity while meeting new people and enjoying a fun creative project, you might learn a thing or two as well. :-)

So, confession time…
I was so excited to start the 100 Day Project, which just recently ended for this year. I talked it up and promised you I would share… and I didn’t. Again, learning curve.

I have come to realize that I cannot do it all… what!!... no, it’s true. Even though I keep trying to. I work full time, I have had my own health issues, I am the founder of a non-profit, I am an artist who had some big deadlines last month, and I am building this amazing business to try and  help more people with adding creativity to their lives, as well as healing through that creativity. Plus I have a partner who actually likes to spend time with me and then I add in family and friends and my time for extra projects gets harder and harder.

I have had to learn to be gentle with myself when I set a goal and don’t reach it. I really look at why I didn’t reach it. Did I quit because it was too hard, was it some sort of resistance (which shows up in a lot of ways) or does it not feed my end goals and my healthy life that I am creating for myself?

So, this project went by the wayside, because at first I thought it would be fun (and it definitely can be) and then it became stressful because my time is pretty tight. I did film a bunch of videos that I will use, but I was stressing myself out with trying to do one every day.

So, I apologize for not following up on that project with all of you.

Look after yourself and have an Amazingly Creative Day,
Larissa
