Soul Creative
We have wrapped up the first ever (beta course) Soul Creative and boy did I learn a lot… and it seems they did too.
8 intensive weeks of healing through creativity.
The ladies will tell you we worked hard, maybe too hard. I am looking at expanding the program as they all thought it was a lot in 8 weeks.
But, did I ever see transformation in these women. Everyone had different things they were working through, but they came together and supported each other and did the work.
I am looking at another program in the fall, dates are being confirmed.
I am also currently looking for space to hold a one day workshop Soul Creator, a step into the intensive online program Soul Creative.
I should have all dates confirmed in the next couple of weeks.
Art Walk

It has been months of new...
Do you journal?
Is it something you do every day, once in a while, when you have an issue you need to work through?
Have you ever wondered why people including the likes of Charles Darwin, Winston Churchill, and Sara Blakely would spend so much of their precious time writing things that will never be seen by another soul?
Because journaling is a process, not an end result. We journal to work through things, to remember things, to give validation to things for ourselves.
Researchers have found that regular journaling can be used to train our attention and strengthen neural pathways.
Reflective writing has also been shown to improve decision making and critical thinking.Journals have proven to be invaluable tools for examining past experiences, evaluating our own actions, and drawing insights for encountering future challenges.
According to Dr. James Pennebaker, an expert in the field of expressive writing, to get the best results from journaling, it was recommended that you:
I have always been one to create for a reason, something to sell, something to gift, something to decorate with, something that was needed.
Recently as I have been reworking through my own course Soul Creative due to my own health issues, I have been creating for the purpose of creation. I didn’t even really start off creating to heal, I really only had something that I needed to get out of me.
The first piece I have created is part of my new series is called ‘Power & oppression’ it is my take on the last 50+ years of women, or the feminine. The treatment, the expectations, the juxtaposition of those expectations. Every aspect of this piece has been very thoughtfully created.
The colours I chose, the angles, the medium, the application, the placement, whether it is painted, attached, transferred or written. Every bit of this piece was intentional.
As I worked through this piece it brought up a lot of emotion, a lot of it was anger, and as I worked through my...
I love taking part in creativity projects. I always encourage people to be creative whenever they can, and challenges are a great way to connect to others who are creating and keep us on track to help build habits. Plus you can get some really amazing ideas from others who are participating.
My 100 day goal is to create a video a day. I have my website and social media accounts, I also have a not for profit and my personal account. Plus making video for courses, so I feel that this is a really good fit for me right now.
My last day of a video course/challenge I am taking with Niamh Arthur (I highly recommend her) ends today, so it is perfect timing for me to do this challenge.
I have struggled a lot with being on camera, I think I have spoken of this before. I was told growing up that I was not photogenic, I was told that we didn't purchase family photos because of me in the photos. So I have spent my whole life avoiding photos, and there are not a lot of me.
Usually if a...
This is more than a class, it is an intensive healing experience.
I am so excited to be sharing about this new program I am putting together.
I have written and taught courses for over 30 years. Online is still new to me but I am learning much more about great ways to share information online, and you will be seeing a lot more video so I can connect more with all of you. I also love emails and messages on FaceBook and any feedback you are willing to give. All of this allows me to get to know you better.
This course has been the easiest I have ever written, it is literally falling right out onto the page. Not that it isn’t a lot of work, it is. Writing an 8 week intensive program takes a lot of time and energy. But it has actually energized me to do so. Every step has come to me through the divine and I am so grateful to be able to share it. I am personally working through all the exercises to be able to feel into it, and it is amazing and healing, I am feeling so energized...
Every March 17, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated with parades, parties, and a lot of green. This date marks the death of Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland. Thought to have been born Maewyn Succat in late-4th Century Britain, the historical figure known as St. Patrick used the name "Patricius" in his writings. St. Patrick was neither Irish nor initially a devout Christian. At the age of 16, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave. After years of enslavement, it is said a voice came to him in his sleep and urged him to escape.
