Want to take part in an Exchange?

Every few months, it depends on what is going on, but we try to give lots of notice. I will say we try for a minimum of 2-3 per year, sometimes we may have more. You do not have to take part in all, only the ones that interest you.

An ATC is an Artist Trading Card, a 2.5" x 3.5" pieces of art in any medium.

They are often traded around the world. Artists create, trade, and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. 

If you create art you are a 'real' artist. All skill levels are welcome, we have even had kids take part. Creating is what is important.

Postage Costs. If we are doing an exchange where all the cards/items are sent to Creative U, we then have to ship them out to everyone participating. We set flat rates to take part based on weight. I don't think we have yet recouped all costs of doing an exchange. We are not doing this to make money, but to spread joy. However, we do need to recoup as much of the costs as possible.

Well, this is a tough one, I have received cards from portuagal in under 2 weeks (I am in Canada) and yet it has taken 4 months for one package from the US. I usually say 2-4 weeks depending on the distance. We host numerous exchanges each year so if you miss the deadline they will be included in the next exchange.

This is another one that can really be different depending on where you mail from and how you package them. For 15 ATC cards packaged in a #10 envelope, you should be able to send for under $3.50 from the US. Overseas may be much more. I have had packages come that have cost the sender as much as $15. The packaging is the most important to keep costs down.
