Tina and I spoke of her harrowing family story and the fight to get her granddaughter back from Social Services. Tina also shared how writing the book about that story has helped her heal.

Tina Fumo is an author due to a tragic story that happened to her family. She recounts that story in her book ‘Fancy Prison’. 

An instinctual pull as old as time - a grandmother wanting to hold her newborn grandchild. Tina travels to a small Canadian town and finds herself in the most stressful ordeal of her life. The 'authorities' have apprehended her two-week-old grandbaby and what she and her family go through to get their baby back will absolutely shock you.
