Christina Keim

Christina Keim is a German mixed media artist based in Argentina. Her “adult art journey” started with pencil sketches, and took her through various twists and turns until she discovered Mixed Media Art and Cosmic Smash Booking. She’s very passionate about creating without pressure, finding spaces for contemplation, experimentation, healing, and self-discovery through art.
Christina is a certified Cosmic Smash Book Guide, teaching workshops and guiding artists, creatives, and people who don’t think they’re creative at all (it doesn’t matter, because this is art anyone can make) through this magical process. She wants more people to discover how to create with joy and intention, heal and transform through art step-by-step to create a better, more colorful life.

The Color of Courage

"Be Courageous!!" is my intention for this year and something that comes up often when I get to do something new, that's scary and doubt creeps up if I will be able to do it.

Then I turn to my art journal / Cosmic Smash Book and create a page that helps me get clarity and find the courage to go the next step.

Stacey Maney

Stacey Maney’s work brings the Great Mother’s teachings into the world through her paintings, murals, film, children’s art, and podcast (Nectar: Sweet Musings for Your Creative Soul).

Colors of Emergence

This session is an invitation to get curious about what’s emerging within you at this time. Whether it’s a new vision, creative project, or way of being. You’ll get a chance to meet your own butterfly that will reveal designs and symbols connected to what you’re bringing forward. You can use a collage technique that we’ll go over or let the butterfly land on the page in whatever way feels nourishing to your creative spirit.

Christina Miles

Christina Miles is a spiritual thinker, a creative, an explorer, and one who is constantly reinventing herself as an artist. She has been creating art for many years and feels she still has a very long way to go as an artist. She is supported by her husband of almost 40 years and has two awesome sons who have had to endure her madness for many years. She is looking forward to adding a daughter in law... and the things she can teach her :-) Christina has had some interesting adventures and travels throughout the years. She's been published in 3 magazines, taught many classes in person, and now is doing more online classes. She loves them all, but in-person teaching is her favorite, yet is probably the hardest to do. All the prep, the traveling etc.

Painted in my magazine art journal using a basic colour palette, we will mix colours, adding layers to give this page depth and texture. Part way through we pause to combine reflection and written journaling on the topic of ‘Finding wonder through gratitude’ before the final embellishments.

Deanna Jinjoe

I am Deanna Jinjoe, a mixed media artist living in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. A few years ago I was dealing with some serious, chronic health issues. I was having migraines almost daily and intense back pain that made life very difficult. My doctor’s solution was to prescribe Tylenol 3’s by the hundreds. I was driven by this pain to seek a solution other than my doctor’s. One of the solutions turned out to be art.

Exploring Nature's Inspiration

We are going to step outside and spend some time really looking at and feeling the energy of nature and use our sketchbooks to help us explore it. As we become more and more technology-reliant we seem to be breaking our lives up into nothing more than little flashing moments we can upload to Instagram or Twitter. We have lost our ability to look deeply and truly see the beauty around us. So we are going to dive into a simple method of doing just that, seeing deeply and connecting with nature through our eyes and our sketchbooks.
